As we acknowledge Emancipation Day today, we must remind ourselves that we are heading into what is probably the most consequential presidential election cycle in the last 30 years. Our civil and personal liberties, even the very history of this nation, is at risk. We are the only ones that can do anything about it.

Prospective candidates to lead Ward 2 Democrats must submit the interest form by 12:00 PM on Thursday, April 4, 2024. To view the current list of candidates visit the Ward 2 Democrats website.

Ward 2 Democrats will be holding elections on Thursday, April 11, 2024 to fill the following leadership roles: Chair, Vice Chair, Treasurer, Corresponding Secretary, Recording Secretary and Ward 2 Committeewoman (One Vacancy to Complete Term Ending June 2026).
