Candidate Statement
As a two-time DC elected official (Ward 2 Committeewoman and Advisory Neighborhood Commissioner – Single Member District 2F08 | 2019 - 2021) and President of The Cambridge Tenant's Association (at 13th & Massachusetts, NW), where I've lived for the past 28 years | I understand the importance of representing views and voices of constituents and neighborhood stakeholders. As someone who has been responsible not only for my own finances, but also for my business/social enterprise, Ferebee Enterprises International, and the Argyle Terrace Oxford House (early 1990’s), it is not lost on me how critical financial integrity is when responsible for other people’s funds. As your Treasurer, my commitment is simple and unwavering: to ensure the highest level of integrity, transparency, and accountability in the management of our Ward 2 DC DEMS shared funds. I pledge to carry out the Treasurer’s duties, including the timely submission of required reporting.
Thank you for your time and consideration. I am asking for your VOTE for Ward 2 DC DEMS Treasurer. Happy & Merry . . .
