The 21st Annual Georgetown French Market
The Georgetown BID is hosting their 21st annual Georgetown French Market April 26 - 28, 2024. This popular open-air market - originally inspired by those often seen in France - will feature sidewalk sales and specials from more than 40 locally-owned boutiques, cafés, and galleries along Wisconsin Avenue from O St to Reservoir Rd., plus live music, stilt-walkers, face painting, a mime, and more. Neighborhood restaurants will also offer food and drink specials featuring French cuisine and beyond - from pastries, croissants, and macarons, to lunch items grilled outside, and wine discounts.
7th Annual Spring Clean Up in Ward 2
This event is presented by The Mayor’s Office of the Clean City. It was established by Mayor's Order 2001-31, in March 2001. MOCC leads the Mayor's Clean City Initiative by serving as the central point of contact and goal champion within the Mayor's administration for the initiative to cleanup the District of Columbia and maintain its cleanliness.

On April 20, 2024, the DC Democratic Party will be holding our District-Level Delegate Elections from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center
All DC residents who are registered as Democrats are eligible to vote.
Earth Day Cleanup
Join Councilmember Pinto, Logan Circle Community Association, Logan Circle Main Street, and District Cleanups for an Earth Day Community Cleanup!

Join the Young Democrats of Ward 2 and 6 for a panel to discuss how to reduce housing costs in Washington DC.

Our panel will be made up of Alex Bacca, DC Policy Director for Greater Greater Washington; Will Merrifield, Founder of the Center for Social Housing and Investment and 2020 candidate for an At-Large seat on the D.C. Council; Leonard Edwards from Bread for The City; and Sheila Reid, President & CEO of Avanti Real Estate Services and former Chair of the DC Board of Zoning Adjustment.
The panelists all share the goal of reducing housing costs for the residents of DC, but come from different perspectives on how to do that. You won't want to miss this informative and lively discussion on just what we need to do to make DC a place people can afford to live in. Audience questions welcome! We will engage in the panel discussion from 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM, and move to Urban Roast across the street for a happy hour at 7:00 PM to continue the conversation in a more casual environment.
