In the event of an evacuation of the District of Columbia, residents of the DuPont Circle and Connecticut Ave / K Street neighborhoods should use the following routes:

• Connecticut Avenue
• K Street to MacArthur Boulevard, Canal Road, and Key Bridge to Virginia
• 16th Street
• Georgia Avenue
• Rhode Island Avenue
• and if circumstances dictate, Wisconsin Avenue

Note that no vehicles will be permitted to cross Pennsylvania Avenue during an emergency evacuation, and residents should evacuate to the North and West.
